As part of her postgraduate studies at the Royal College of Music, she was awarded the RCM Junior Fellowship in opera conducting. She then completed a master’s degree at the University of Huddersfield, where she was a part-time lecturer. Since 2020, she has been appointed as Principal Guest Conductor of the Oxford University Orchestra. Sure, the likes of Coachella, Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, and Lollapalooza are behind us now. Still, there’s truly no shortage of stacked music festivals coming up, with more lineups being added almost every single week. Plus, as we reach the end of 2024, lineups for 2025 are already emerging. This week, we’ve got big news with the lineups for Innings, in Tempe, Arizona, Tecate P’al Norte in Monterrey, Mexico, and next year’s lineup for When We Were Young in Las Vegas, Nevada.

While the 2024 lineup is not yet confirmed, previous years have seen the likes of Kesha, Wilco, Grouplove, Black Pumas and AJR playing live. The family-friendly event spanning 54 acres of outdoor space also includes a plethora of culinary options, a robust artisan village, and activities for children. The gargantuan event spans the entirety of Grant Park, subjecting more than 100,000 daily attendees to long walks between stages, porta-johns and beer tents.
